The MacLaren is known for many diverse activities, Inside MacLaren you will find information on collections, exhibitions,  past projects and the activities that are core to the MacLaren.


The building was designed by Siamak Hariri of Hariri Pontarini Architects and has been the recipient of the following awards:


2003 Ontario Association of Architects Awards - Award of Excellence
2003 Ontario Association of Architects Awards - Michael V. and Wanda Plachta Award
2003 National Post Design Exchange Awards - Award of Merit, Built Environments
2002 Barrie Ontario Urban Design Award

 

 
 
Projects
We've painted fences, planted horses, mounted exhibitions on fish huts, in car dealerships, at golf courses, and largest of all, we're creating a city-wide art project: ArtCity. 		Photo Gallery
