Where is the MacLaren located?

The MacLaren is located at 37 Mulcaster Street, Barrie, Ontario. From Toronto follow Hwy 400 north to the Bayfield St. exit for the Maclaren Art Centre.

How much does it cost to visit the MacLaren?
Admission is by suggested donation: $5.00 Adults, $2.00 Students (members and children under 12 are free).  All proceeds go to support the exhibition and education programmes.

When is the gallery open?
New Hours of Operation
Galleries and Handmade Gallery Store Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Sundays  12 noon to 4pm as of September 23rd, 2007.

Radio Cafe Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30 pm Saturday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm  Sunday 12 noon to 4pm, as of September 23, 2007
How often do exhibitions change?
It really depends on the exhibition. The MacLaren is always trying to keep exhibitions fresh and responsive to our audience. On average exhibitions will change every 6 to 8 weeks.
